Helen Field Fine Art
Each portrait takes me an average of 25-30 hours to complete depending on how many subjects are in the artwork (I tend to draw during evenings & weekends due to work commitments). Please ensure your portrait is booked in at least 3 months prior to it being required to avoid disappointment.
The actual paper size used will be confirmed when the commission is discussed.
A written agreement and non-refundable £50 booking fee is required to secure your commission and the balance payable prior to delivery or collection. If for any reason I am unable to complete your portrait, a full refund of your booking fee will be provided.
The paper I use is Claire Fontaine pastel-mat board or Grafix drafting film which are both acid free and archival. My pencils are very high quality and have high lightfast ratings.
Your artwork will be supplied secured to archival backing board and framed with mount board. The Mount board that I provide is archival and PH neutral. Collection can be arranged or local delivery is available on request. If the artwork needs to be posted the cost will be calculated & agreed before the commission is started.
My pencils are lightfast, however I would always recommend that UV protected glass is used in the frame to protect the artwork from fading, this glass can be supplied by most good framers. Your portrait should always be hung away from direct sunlight. Anti reflective glass is also an option and highly recommended to have a good view of your drawing.
Please email me at hello@helenfieldfineart.com, to express your interest, we will agree a suitable high-quality photograph of your pet and once your deposit is paid your commission is confirmed.
All information and images you provide will be handled in accordance with my privacy policy.
Any questions please let me know I will be happy to help. Once again thank you for taking an interest in my artwork and I look forward to creating that very special forever memory of your beloved pet.
Kind Regards
Helen
